Alice in Wonderland

This year I got all the kids to follow one theme! It was Alice In Wonderland. Since I am pretty sure that this will never happen again I was so excited that Brandon would go along at least once. Brandon was the Mad Hatter, Emma was Alice, and Cole was the white rabbit. We also made caramel apples with some of the neighbors. A good time was had by all.

Carving pumpkins!

I do not really care for carving pumpkins, but this year we decided to carve with our kids. They really liked the idea of it all, but when it came right down to it no one was that excited. Cole did not even want to come outside to help at all. Brandon helped the most with his yet still called it gross. Emma went near hers with a small plastic shovel but that was it. Jake ended up doing most of the carving with a hand saw. Oh well it was a really fun family project anyway.

I know this is really late, but here are a few of the pics we took while watching the fireworks with my friend Christine and her kids.

Finally we can go camping again

We went camping with some friends over the weekend. It was fun and the kids love to explore! Devin and Finiti are sitting in the truck with Brandon and Emma. We got there and set up camp. After we walked around and explored the site. Later that night we cooked hot dogs and hobo stew. The kids had so much fun that they went right to sleep. The next morning we woke up and make breakfast, which got burned and was cold, but we did not care it was the experience and the kids fun that mattered.

Emma lost her first tooth

Emma lost a tooth! We went for ice cream, and she picked Dairy Queen. We had a blast and here are some of the pics.

Brandon is 6!

Brandon turned 6 this year and we did a little party at our house for him. Some of his friends came and we had a blast.

I know its late but here are some Christmas things we did

Every year for Christmas we act out the Christmas story as a family. It is really fun and this year Emma was Mary, Brandon was a shepherd, and Cole was Joseph. My Dad reads the story.
